I’m Nat.
I left Melbourne at the end of January for Indonesia, and created this blog to share my journey with family and friends, old and new.
I set up a home away from home in Bali, making regular visits to Jakarta, whenever a good band toured or I missed the big smoke.
I’ve since returned home to Melbourne, and back to work as a freelance photographer at Sundae Studios, but will be making the journey back to Indonesia as often as I can to visit friends and adopted families.
While I initially created this blog to get out of writing emails to my family back home, I was told by many once I left Indonesia that they missed reading about my adventures and seeing images of the many beautiful aspects of Bali and Java. On my travels, I made loads of Indonesian friends, so, even though I am back home in Australia, I decided to keep this thing alive for my Indo buds, mostly to get out of writing heaps of emails, but also to expose my new friends to what life is about for me across the water.
Two birds with one stone, as they say.
So, friends near and far, check in regularly for photos of food, parties and interesting streetscapes and tales of local and far away adventures.
